In a previous webinar, the team from Macquarie University spoke about how they set up a network of local diversity and inclusion (D&I) committees. These committees help implement the University’s D&I plans and drive sustainable change, in a way that is tailored to local contexts.
Well, team Macquarie has updates on their progress! They’ve been busy promoting their distributed leadership model for D&I. As part of their communications campaign, they produced an article and a video to let everyone in the University know what these committees do, and how they can get involved.
In other news, Macquarie was recognised by Pride in Sport for their LGBTQ initiatives with a Gold Award and the Award for Most Improved Sporting Organisation. Congratulations Macquarie!
