Can my institution/organisation join SAGE?

education and research institutions for gender equity, diversity and inclusion. Over 50% of
institutions in the Australian higher education and research sector have subscribed to SAGE.

I’m from a SAGE subscriber institution. How do I access subscriber resources?

Full access to our online resources is limited to staff and students from subscribing institutions.

If you are a staff member (academic or professional) or a current student at a SAGE subscriber institution, please click the “Login” link in the top righthand corner of your browser and follow the prompts to validate your email address. Here’s a quick video that shows how to login for the first time.

To check whether your institution is a SAGE subscriber, please visit the SAGE subscribers and Athena
Swan awardees
page.

If you don’t receive a validation link within an hour, please check that:

  • you submitted an email address that is affiliated with a SAGE subscriber institution;
  • there were no spelling errors in your email address;
  • the validation link is not in your spam folder; and
  • your institution’s IT department has whitelisted all emails from sage@sciencegenderequity.org.au.

We do our best to ensure that our system recognises all legitimate email addresses from SAGE subscriber institutions. However, on rare occasions, you may receive a “Sorry, we couldn’t verify that email address” message even though a genuine address was provided.

This may occur when an institution has recently changed its domain name (e.g. following a rebrand) or if your email address contains an identifier that is unique to a specific School/Centre/Department within the institution.

If you encounter this error, please let us know by email to sage@sciencegenderequity.org.au and we will update our system accordingly.
