For International Women’s Day this year, the University of Queensland (UQ) launched a podcast series to highlight the unique and diverse pathways to leadership taken by UQ women.

In their SAGE Athena Swan Bronze Award submission, UQ identified the need to provide career guidance for women looking to advance their careers.

The Women Finding Success podcast aims to make career progression more achievable for women in all fields by amplifying the stories of UQ women and how they navigated academic and professional career paths. Each of the nine episodes in series one features a woman who has found success at UQ, with each story highlighting a unique pathway.

Women Finding Success has garnered over 1400 listens and positive feedback from both UQ staff and listeners further afield. It currently has a 5-star review on Apple Podcasts. You can listen to the podcast on Soundcloud, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
