Conference Discounts

Subscriber discount

Staff and students from SAGE subscriber institutions are entitled to a 20% discount.

Please register using your staff or student email address to confirm your affiliation.

Group discounts

Team up with colleagues from your institution to access the below group discounts.

  • Get 5% off registrations when you register 6–9 people.
  • Get 10% off registrations when you register for a group of 10+.

Individuals in a group may register in different ways (e.g. for different days, or via hybrid attendance). However the group discount will only apply to those in a group who are attending both days of the Conference, in person.

Financial Support: Student EDI Practitioners subsidies

We want to ensure that students EDI practitioners have an opportunity to attend.

SAGE is offering 10 subsidised registration places for student EDI practitioners, who may be experiencing financial hardship.  

Registrations are offered at 50% of cost ($250 for full conference registration). 

If this applies to you, email sage@scienecegenderequity.org.au with your circumstances, and we’ll send through a special registration link.

Only 10 of these tickets are available – get in early.

Financial Support: Equity Places

We are grateful to Women NSW for making it possible for us to provide the following additional equity supports. 

24 equity places are available for participants from marginalised communities, with registrations offered at 50% of cost ($250 for full conference registration). 

Applicants may also seek supports for accommodation and travel stipends as required.  

We particularly encourage applications from: 

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and/or asexual (LGBTIQA+) people 
  • those experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage 
  • those from culturally and linguistically diverse communities 
  • those living in regional, rural and remote areas
  • those with disability 
  • those with a mental illness 
  • those with a history of, or who are currently experiencing, domestic, family or sexual violence.

How to apply

Send an email to sage@sciencegenderequity.org.au, outlining: 

  1. Your name, role and current institution (if applicable) 
  2. Any marginalised communities you identify with, such as those listed above 
  3. A short statement explaining how attending the SAGE 2025 Conference will benefit you, personally or professionally.

Do you need support to attend the conference?

There are lots of things we can do to accommodate your needs.

These may include (but are not limited to)

  • mobility or accessibility supports
  • hearing, vision or sensory supports
  • interpretation or translation services
  • nursing or quiet spaces.
