Picture a Scientist follows the journeys of three women in STEM, showing the discrimination, bullying and harassment they experienced in their professional lives. This US documentary reflects what Respect@Work revealed about women’s experiences in Australian workplaces.

Inspired by a discussion of the film at a SAGE National Network Meeting, Professor Julianne Reid contacted the film’s producers to arrange two screenings at Curtin University. The film was viewed beforehand through a pre-screening arrangement to ensure its suitability, and all members of the Western Australian Regional Network were invited to attend.
