Monash University’s application for SAGE Athena Swan accreditation contains two sections:

Leadership and accountability: a reflection on the achievements, challenges and learnings from
the SAGE Cygnet process, as well as actions to be implemented to improve the institution’s
gender equity, diversity and inclusion strategy; and
Key barriers to attraction, retention and/or progression: analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to justify a
selection of five key barriers on which future actions will focus.
