Flinders University’s application for SAGE Athena Swan accreditation contains:

the details and results of their self-assessment, a process where the institution analyses their workforce and student data to identify barriers to attraction, retention and progression; and
their action plan to remove or reduce the systemic barriers identified during their self-assessment process.

Flinders University increased supports for First Peoples students to enable their participation and engagement at the university.

The University has previously received a Cygnet for supporting First Nations staff.

Flinders is the first university in South Australia to earn a Cygnet Award.
