Science Australia Gender Equity (SAGE) is a national initiative dedicated to advancing gender equity, diversity, and inclusion across tertiary education and research. Established to implement the Athena Swan Charter in Australia, SAGE partners with institutions to create inclusive workplaces through rigorous accreditation and evidence-based strategies.
SAGE is proud to partner with leading institutions across the tertiary education and research sector. Building on this strong foundation, we are now expanding our programs further within the MRI community and into the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, such as TAFEs. This growth will allow us to apply our proven, data-driven approach to equity, diversity, and inclusion across an even broader range of institutions, ensuring more workplaces—particularly in STEMM fields—benefit from structured strategies to foster inclusive cultures.
