Launched in 2023 by Plan International Australia in partnership with Dr Rebecca Huntley and Heartward Strategic, Gender Compass segmented the Australian public based on their attitudes toward gender equality. Stage 2 builds on this foundation, offering new insights into the ‘moveable middle’ – Australians who are open to progress on gender equality but not yet fully convinced or engaged.
In this session, we’ll explore the latest findings and share Gender Compass – Moving the Middle, a practical communications guide designed to help advocates navigate challenging conversations and engage more Australians in the movement toward gender equality.
