How can universities strengthen disability inclusion while reducing consultation fatigue?

This session explores how Griffith University is aligning consultation and data collection across frameworks such as Athena Swan and the Australian Disability Network Assessment Index to support more inclusive, evidence-based decision-making.

Participants will also learn how AI-enabled workflows can make disability inclusion data easier to analyse, interpret and communicate.

Our Speaker

Dr Alison Wright is the Disability Inclusion Strategy Partner for Griffith University.

As a professional in the advocacy space, she is a 30 under 30 alumni with Out For Australia where she is a current active mentor and was a 2025 finalist in the Awards Australia Leadership award for her advocacy work.

Trained in neurobiology with a PhD in Spinal Cord Injury, Alison specialises in taking a research approach to advocacy problems by employing unique data gathering and analysis techniques.
